Superhumid is a creative studio run
by Virginia Walcott specializing in
design, film, and illustration.

Virginia is an artist, designer, and filmmaker from the Gulf Coast of Alabama. After working at The Atlantic for five years, she started Superhumid to provide freelance services to clients in journalism, music, and film. Today, her work has expanded to everything from production design and publishing to music videos and murals. An interdisciplinary maker through and through, her experience in a variety of industries shows up in every project she works on. Virginia lives in New Orleans where she operates Superhumid, teaches at various art centers, and is a member of Staple Goods, a collectively-run contemporary art gallery.
